![]() I was able to record 1440x900 full screen capture with sound using xvid codec and their mpeg1 audio codec with very usable results.Īlso able to record secondlife as directx/ogl window capture with sound but on playback the video was shifted out of virtical alignment by 45 degrees, unsure why happens, regardless of codec used. It cannot record hardware accelerated video overlays, in fact it disables the hardware acceleration by default if started before the source video aplication which can break some players like Dscaler. My system does not have a soundmixer or wav out input for recording system sound output, but this program understands HD sound system API and offers on Vista at least "Vista Sound (WASAPI)" device which captures the live sound being played via the speakers, in addition it has a secondary sound capture selection source that can be the microphone and it can then simultaniousy record the microphone for our part of a conversation and the other ends speaker output. Just installed and tested this on 32bit Vista home premium SP2.
